VENTURE VOLUMES

The Venture: An Annual of Art and Literature was published by art gallery owner John Baillie in London. Volume 1, published in 1903, was printed by James J. Guthrie’s Pear Tree Press and edited by Laurence Housman and Somerset Maugham. Volume 2, published at the end of 1904 but forward-dated 1905, was printed by the Arden Press and edited by Baillie. The Venture Digital Edition is based on physical copies held in Toronto Metropolitan University Library Special Collections and Archives. Our PDFs have been uploaded to the Internet Archive so that a virtual facsimile in flipbook format is available for users.
