THE SAVOY
Published in London in 1896 by Leonard Smithers, The Savoy was edited by Arthur Symons and Aubrey Beardsley in two quarterly and six monthly numbers. The Savoy Digital Edition is based on physical copies held in Toronto Metropolitan University Library Archives and Special Collections and digitizations from the Mark Samuels Lasner Collection, University of Delaware Library, Museums and Press. Our PDFs have been uploaded to the Internet Archive so that a virtual facsimile in flipbook format is available for users. The marked-up searchable edition of The Savoy has been guest edited with Introductory and ancillary material provided by Christopher Keep and his graduate class at Western University, London, Ontario.
The Y90s Database of Ornament allows users to study The Savoy’s textual ornaments in individual detail and in comparison to textual ornaments in The Dial, The Evergreen, The Green Sheaf, and The Pageant.
