This illustration accompanies a poem by the artist. It’s centered above the poem, occupying approximately two-thirds of the page. The full-colour image is bordered with a thick black rectangular frame and is displayed in portrait orientation. On the left side of the image, nine yellow-robed figures float into the frame, facing right. The figures carry red hearts on delicate chains, and wear golden headdresses adorned with red apples and roses. Some of their robes are decorated with red roses with green leaves. The robed figures float above a purple ground towards the right foreground of the image, where white lilies grow in front of an effigy of two figures, which have only their feet and legs visible. Behind is a large grey church with a blue door. In the background is a green hill and a yellow sky, the same colour as the robed figures. In the bottom left corner, the artist’s monogram is visible.
