The pen-and-ink illustrated advertisement is outlined with a thick black rectangular border, in portrait orientation, centered above the text of the advertisement. In the left foreground, a woman walks to the left, with her arm outstretched and face turned back to look toward a young child. The dark-haired woman wears a long flowing gown and shawl, and holds a rose in her right hand. The child, facing toward the woman and away from the viewer, has light hair, wears a long white dress with a bow tied at the back, and reaches its arms up toward the woman. In the background are mountains and a cloudy sky. The artist’s monogram is in the bottom right corner of the frame.
