DIALV4-moore-giants-AE

The small woodcut is centered on the top half of the page. The image, as well as its frame, are printed in dark green ink. It is rectangular in shape; the top and bottom edges are longer than the sides. The image depicts a close-up of four baby giants. In the left foreground, two of the giants wrestle, naked. Their arms wrap around each other as the giant on the right hooks a leg between the legs of the left giant. Their bodies occupy the entire height of the picture plane. Behind them, on the extreme left, another giant looks on. In the right foreground a third baby giant, also naked, lies with its back to the viewer, holding a flowering branch. In the background are two joined buildings with thatched roofs. In front of the left building lies an animal, possibly a cow. It faces the lying giant and the viewer.
