ILLUSTRATION FOR “CAEL AND CREDHE”

This half-page illustration interrupts the text of “Cael and Credhe,” and is centred on the top half of the last (3rd) page of the story, above the text. The black-bordered rectangular image in portrait orientation shows Cael and Finn standing before the locked hill home of the Sidhe, tapping on the blue window with their spears. Both figures have their backs to the viewer, and wear winged helmets; Cael is in blue robes while Finn wears a brown cloak and holds a green shield with a white crane emblazoned on it. They stand on a beige rocky outcrop, a silhouetted army below them. The artist’s monogram is in the bottom left corner of the image.
