Image is of a dark haired woman chasing three mice She is in the middle ground hunched over and looking downward at the mice Her right hand is raised she is holding a carving knife over her head Her left hand is grasping her apron and dress lifting them slightly off the ground She is wearing dark clothing with a white apron To the left of the women are two children with light coloured hair sitting on a bench The child on the left is wearing dark attire with a light coloured shirt underneath while the child on the right is wearing primarily light coloured clothing with a black chest and cuffs In the foregound are the three mice One has its tail chopped off it is sitting on the floor in front of him The tailless mouse is lying on all four feet with its nose raised toward the ceiling The mouse on the right of the image is standing on its hind legs the left mouse is running Both these mice have their eyes closed The inscription at the bottom of the image reads THREE BLIND MICE SEE HOW THEY RUN c The author’s initials E G T are at the lower right corner along with the year of production 1893 The image is vertically displayed The image is double ruled with black lines
